1, the technology conditions of the ASME SA299 / SA299M equivalent to the latest version, suitable for welding boiler and other pressure vessel USES the steel plate.

2, the steel plate size and shape, weight and deviation should be allowed to meet the provisions of SA20 standard.

3, technical requirements

3.1 chemical composition

The chemical composition of the steel plate (melting analysis) shall conform to the provisions of ASME SA299 steel plate, see table 1.

3.2 delivery status: the steel plate to normalizedstate delivery. Sample simulation after welding heat treatment system: 610 ±5 ℃, heat preservation 8 hours, more than 300 ℃,≤150 ℃cooling speed/h, 300 ℃below are not limit. PWHT size simulation for: long quartile 3 T x width quartile 3 T ×T (T-thickness).

3.3 mechanics and process performance

3.3.1 PWHT should comply with the provisions of the table 2.

Note: (1) the table 2 impact energy for three samples of the arithmetic mean, allow one of the single value less than 27 J, but shall not be less than 20 J.

(2) less than 12 mm thickness of steel, do not do the impact test.
