Zinc is main alloy elements in 7075. When they add 3% - 7.5%magnesium to zinc alloy, it can form MgZn2 what strengthening effect is remarkable. It makes the alloy heat treatment effect than in aluminum and zinc binary alloy. When improve the zinc and magnesium content of alloy, tensile strength will be further improved, but its ability of resistance to stress corrosion and spalling corrosion will decrease. Subjected to heat treatment, 7075 can reach very high strength characteristics. 7075 materials generally add a small amount of copper and chromium alloy, such as department of A7075 - especially top grade aluminum alloy, was regarded as the most excellent products in aluminum alloy, high strength, much better than any of the mild steel. The alloy has good mechanical and anodic reaction.
Main use: aviation fixtures, truck, tower building, vessel, pipeline and other needs to have strength, weldability and corrosion resistance of building on the field of application. Such as: aircraft parts, gears and shaft, the fuse parts, instrument into the valve shaft and gear, missile parts, turbine, keys, aircraft, aerospace and defense applications.
