ASTM A455 Pressure Vessel steel plates

The adopt standard is ASTM A455/A455M -90, It is for pressure vessel steel plates, carbon steel, high Strength manganese.

The very important is Si, At ASTM A455 Standard; The Si element should be less 0.13% at products analysis.

That is different with GB Q235B,and JIS SS400, and EN S235JR, ASTM A36 carbon steel plates. Although the tensile and yield are nearly the same.
