1. The technology conditions apply to 8 ~ 305 mm thickness of steel alloy 40 Cr steel plates.

2. The size, shape, weight and allowed deviation

2.1 steel plate roughness ≤3 mm/M.

2.2 plate thickness tolerance see table 1.

2.3 the rest of the steel plate size and shape, weight and deviation should be allowed to meet the provisions of GB709-88 standard.

3. Technical requirements

3.1 the chemicalcomposition of the steel plate (melting analysis) shall conform to the table 2

3.2 delivery status: the hot rolling, annealing or high temperature firing back

3.2 mechanical properties

3.2.1 for hot rolling steel state, provide brinell hardness index of the measured value.

3.2.2 for annealing or high temperature of tempering steel plate, the brinell hardness index should be less than 240 HB.
