EN 10120:2017 (supersedes EN 10120:2008) specifies steel sheet and strip up to 5 mm thick for the manufacture of welded gas cylinders. It covers five grades: the normalized / normalizing-rolled non-alloy grades P245NB (1.0111), P265NB (1.0423), P310NB (1.0437) and P355NB (1.0557) with minimum yield strengths of 245 to 355 MPa, and the cold-rolled dual-phase grade HCT600XB (1.0950, ReH 340 MPa min, Rm 600 MPa min) added in 2017 for cylinders that are not heat treated after welding. Gangsteel produces and exports EN 10120 coil, slit strip, sheet and circular blanks with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certificates.
