JIS G 3118:2024 (revised 2024-11-20, replaces JIS G 3118:2020) specifies hot-rolled carbon steel plates for pressure vessels mainly intended for intermediate and ordinary (moderate) temperature service. It covers three grades, SGV410, SGV450 and SGV480, named from the SGV product family plus the nominal tensile strength class (410, 450 and 480 MPa), with minimum yield points of 225, 245 and 265 MPa. The standard is based on ISO 9328-1:2018 and ISO 9328-2:2018 with modifications (MOD). Gangsteel produces and exports JIS G 3118 plate cut to size with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certificates.
