2.ASTM A537 pressure vessel steel offers greater tensile and yield strength than ASTM A516 grades The ASTM A537 specification covers heat treated carbon steel plates for pressure vessel applications.

3.ASTM A537 Class 1 plates are supplied in the normalised condition whilst Class 2 plates are quenched and tempered. ASTM A537 carbon steel plates promote greater tensile and yield strength than pressure vessel plates supplied under the ASTM A516 standard.

4.We Limited specialise in the supply of pressure vessel plates which are commonly required by the Oil, Gas and petrochemical industry. We offer material to the ASTM A537 specification in a number of sizes and thicknesses to suit your requirements.

5.Our plates can be shipped from our own stockholding in our carehouse or directly from the mill itself. As we are part of the mill rolling program we can ship plates to our customers to meet their deadlines on a global basis. The steel can also be tested to your specific requirements.
