1. Scope

This specification covers heat-treated carbon-manganese-silicon steel plates intended for fusion-welded pressure vessels and structures.

4. Materials and Manufacture

4.1 Steel Making Practice

  • Produced by basic oxygen or electric furnace
  • Fully deoxidized
