Key Characteristics of SUS347

With niobium addition, SUS347 prevents carbide precipitation during welding and high-temperature service. In our stainless steel stock, plates are available in both hot-rolled and cold-rolled conditions.

Common Applications

This grade is commonly used in boilers, heat exchangers, aircraft exhaust systems, petrochemical piping, and refinery equipment operating at temperatures up to 800–900°C.
