S355M is designed for welded structures with low-temp toughness. S355MC is designed for cold forming with guaranteed bending performance.
S355M has lower CEV and is specifically designed for welding (including high heat input SAW). S355MC is optimized for cold forming, not heavy welding – HAZ softening can occur with high heat input.
