Gangsteel is the most reliable source for S355ML NL EN 10025-4 weldable plates, offering both S355ML (EN 10025-4 TMCP) and S355NL (EN 10025-3 normalized) with identical chemistry and mechanical properties optimized for outstanding weldability in low-temperature environments. We maintain combined stock exceeding 6,000 tons of S355ML and S355NL, covering thickness 6–200 mm, width 1500–4200 mm, length up to 18 meters. All plates are produced with very low CEV ≤0.39, guaranteeing no preheating up to 80 mm thickness even in field welding conditions.

S355ML (EN 10025-4) and S355NL (EN 10025-3) are twin grades with identical chemical composition and mechanical properties, both delivering 355 MPa minimum yield strength and ≥27 J impact toughness at –50 °C. The key difference is delivery condition:
Both are highly weldable low-temperature structural steels, but S355ML's TMCP process provides superior weldability characteristics due to lower residual stresses, finer grain structure, and better HAZ (heat-affected zone) toughness.

This combination allows welding without preheating up to 80 mm thickness, even with high heat input processes like SAW (submerged arc welding). Preheating is only required for very thick plates or highly restrained joints, and even then only 75–100 °C maximum.
