What is S460ML+Z35 EN 10025-4 Through-Thickness Plate?

S460ML+Z35is a thermomechanically rolled (TMCP) weldable fine-grain structural steel under EN 10025-4:2004 (2019 revision) with additional Z35 through-thickness quality per EN 10164 Class 3.

S460ML= structural steel, 460 MPa yield, TMCP delivery, low-temperature toughness (–50 °C)
+Z35= guaranteed through-thickness ductility: minimum 35 % reduction of area (RA_z) in Z-direction tensile test (three specimens per heat, average ≥35 %, single ≥25 %)
