What is Stahl S460M EN 10025-4?

Stahl S460M (material number 1.8827) is a thermomechanically rolled (TMCP) weldable fine-grain structural steel specified in EN 10025-4:2004 (current version 2019).

The designation “S460M” means:

• 460= minimum yield strength 460 MPa (transverse, thickness ≤ 16 mm)
• M= thermomechanical rolling (TMCP delivery condition)
